The protocol is going great; I really noticed a difference using the Betaine. Nothing bothers my stomach anymore and I can eat healthy things that would normally make me uncomfortable and I feel fine! My nails and hair are growing way faster so that's always a plus! Thank you so much for all your help, I really appreciate it. I healed so much faster after this c- section and didn't feel as run down which is also helpful.

I'm one of those people that has tried every "quick-fix" and/or supplement that I could get my hands on in order to "heal" myself and feel better. After countless bouts of trial and error, as well as many failures, along with DOZENS of supplement bottles sitting in my pantry, I decided to go a different - and the most obvious - route. I changed my diet.

I've worked with Marissa and her Restart program twice now. Once with my wife, and once on my own. Each time I was not only starting to heal myself, but I also noticed how much better I felt, both physically and mentally. Now, I'm not going to lie, the first couple of days/week can be a bit rough as it's a transition, but Marissa is there to assist every step of the way.

After the initial week or so, I started to immediately notice a difference in energy. It was almost night and day. I wasn't sluggish, crashing, or tired after every meal. The next thing I noticed was the inflammation and bloating was gone. Before starting the Restart program, EVERY single thing I ate and/or drank, caused me to bloat. That was pretty much eliminated. Another thing I noticed was my mood was more stable. Gone were the ebb and flows of sugar spikes and crashes. Some other wildly anecdotal, but extremely noticeable benefits to me were my sleep scores (I track my sleep) and my blood flow (gents, ya'll know what I'm talking about!)

After 30 days of the program, it was abundantly clear to me how much of a difference food and hydration can impact how one feels. I'm not saying this is a miracle cure and it's going to magically fix everything for you, but it's one hell of a start! If you're like me and want to do better, but don't know where to start, I'd recommend starting with Marissa and your diet.

I came to marissa for nutrition work during the hardest time of my life. I discovered while working with Marissa that most of my problems were not related to nutrition or digestion. They were related to trauma. However, working with Marissa was still highly beneficial for me even though my nutrition and digestion was good. Marissa is a very hard worker, she is dedicated, and passionate about her work. She is also very knowledgeable and if she doesn’t know the answer she will find it out. Marissa helped me achieve balance and the best health I could reach while working on my trauma. I have learned a lot and still use everything I’ve learned. I guarantee that anyone who is willing to put the work in will see great results with Marissa and I can’t recommend her enough for your nutrition/digestive needs. Everything you learn while going through this journey will benefit you for the rest of your life, provided you still use what you’ve learned.

Marissa is someone who passionately and genuinely cares about her clients. Her approach is different than most as she understands there is no quick fix to healing. She doesn’t do band aids. It’s a sometimes frustrating process and she’s there to walk you through it, to listen and more importantly empower you to learn the foundations to deeply nourish your body. She emphasizes the basis that all health is built upon and gives you realistic ways to implement these for success in your day to day life. If you hit a road block she won’t just throw in the towel and write you off as doomed but will pivot with you as you heal, grow and evolve. So much is over complicated in the wellness world. So much is spent on supplements and crazy diets. Marissa’s foundational approach may include some supplements but it’s a 5% piece of the much larger picture and she will encourage you to understand how brilliant your body is and how she wants to thrive

So, you ask your doctor "How can I feel better?", "Should I be eating this or that?" or "What supplements should I be taking?" Family practitioners have not been trained for any nutritional counseling. Big Pharma has a great influence on what they are taught, so you take prescriptions to mask symptoms, not avoid the cause of symptoms. The key to good health is good, qualified nutritionist who has your best interest at heart.

Marissa has helped me immensely! She is very knowledgeable and helps you understand the best course of action to becoming a healthier person. She takes her time explaining how better nutrition can give you a better you and exactly how to do it. It's easy and rewarding to follow her advice and I feel better for it. I look forward to continuing my quest for health with Marissa.

I have been working with Marissa 1-on-1 for just over 2 months and overall my energy has improved! This week is a lot with daycare being closed, but through small habits I have implemented over the past few months I am not exhausted at the end of the work day and able to make dinner for my family! Sleep is probably the most improved thing I have experienced, especially with having a 1-year old who is still waking up at night. Additionally, I got my period back this month and for the first time, from as far as I can remember, I didn't have debilitating cramps, heavy flow, and experienced minimal bloating!
